College fantasy football player rankings for Week One.
Inside College Football
The Texas Longhorns looked very average against a bottom feeder Saturday in Houston. The Longhorns are supposed to be title contenders but their performance yesterday showed they need a ton of work.
Inside College Football
The college football season is off and running and the second week of the season is full of matchups that would have the BCS committee heads jealous. Simply put, week two will go a long way in determining who will be playing in the major bowls next January.

A.J. Green WR - UGA:
NCAA rules, Green to...
Sep 9, 1:00AM
The NCAA has ruled that Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green, will need to miss four total games before being eligible to play after selling a game jersey to a sport agent. Green has already missed the season opener and barring an appeal, will have to miss three more game. Georgia has said that they will appeal the ruling but until Green hits the field, look for Tavarres King to try and pick up the slack.

Evan Davis WR - UTEP:
UTEP's Evan Davis back...
Sep 8, 9:00PM
UTEP wide receiver Evan Davis will return to the field this Saturday against Houston after sitting out Week One following his arrest for a "domestic incident." We're surprised that Davis has returned so quickly. His fantasy prospects appear limited until his role in the offense is determined.

Wesley Carroll QB - FLInt:

Sep 8, 9:00PM
Florida International coach Mario Cristobal has decided on his starting quarterback (Wesley Carroll or Wayne Younger) for this week's game against Rutgers, and he's told the team. However he's keeping this big secret from the rest of the world. And fantasy owners and all those associated with Rutgers football will await this news with bated breath. Can you stand it?

D.J. Williams TE - Ark:
DJ Williams slimmer,...
Sep 8, 5:00PM
Arkansas tight end D.J. Williams worked hard this offseason to drop from around 255 pounds down to a more svelte 240 pounds. Williams showed his new found speed and agility in the season opener with a nice spin move after a catch. Head coach Bobby Petrino says "D.J.’s always been a great runner after the catch, but he is faster this year." Williams had five catches in the Razorbacks' last game and could emerge as a go-to option over the middle.

Graig Cooper RB - MiaFL:

Sep 8, 2:15PM
Miami running back Graig Cooper hasn't practiced this week and "probably won't play" against Ohio State due to an injured ankle, according to the Palm Beach Post. Funny, because the Miami Herald thinks Coop was hit around his knee. Anyone who watched him play last Thursday could see he wasn't 100%, so the time off can only help. The five headed Cane RB monster is now down to three, but none are good options this week in Columbus.

Jeremy Stewart RB - Stan:
Jeremy Stewart (ankle)...
Sep 8, 2:15PM
Stanford RB Jeremy Stewart suffered an apparent ankle injury in last week's win over Sacramento State. He had five carries for 21 yards and a touchdown before limping off the field. He is questionable for this weekend's showdown with UCLA. The Cardinal backfield is hard to gauge right now, but if Stewart is out then it might be worth rolling the dice on Stepfan Taylor this weekend. The Bruins did give up 313 yards rushing last week to Kansas State.

Jamarr Robinson QB - MD:
Two QBs coming for Terps
Sep 8, 2:15PM
Maryland quarterback Jamarr Robinson, coming off a 2 of 5 performance against Navy, is expected to split snaps with Danny O'Brien moving forward, according to the Baltimore Sun. After a summer of hearing how much Robinson matured, it now seems as though head coach Ralph Friedgen doesn't have any faith in his mobile signal caller as a passer. Remember, if you have two quarterbacks, you have zero quarterbacks. Let this play out for a few weeks before bailing completely on Robinson, but this is a disappointing turn for one of my favorite sleepers this season.
