Shane Victorino RF,CF - BOS:
May 23, 6:53PM: Shane Victorino...
Shane Victorino (hamstring) did sprints and other drills prior to Thursday's game. He's sitting out again Thursday, but the outfielder still seems likely to avoid the disabled list. "He's still day-to-day," Red Sox manager John Farrell said Thursday. "He's unavailable tonight. So, I think, we've used as a general rule of thumb, as we get to that halfway point of the potential of putting Shane on the [disabled list], we'll make a decision at that point, but we're no closer today to making a roster move.''

He seems likely to start either next Monday or Tuesday against the Dodgers, putting him in line for a two-start week.

Assuming his velocity comes back up the next time out, he could rejoin the Indians' rotation after that.

Zack Wheeler SP - NYM:
May 23, 5:38PM: Wheeler 2-3...
Mike Puma of the New York Post was told by a high-ranking team official that prospect right-hander Zack Wheeler is expected make 2-3 more starts with Triple-A Las Vegas before joining the Mets. That would place his major league debut somewhere around June 6 or 11, which would leave the Mets safe from any concerns about eventual Super Two status. Wheeler returned to action Wednesday after a recent collarbone issue and allowed three runs in five innings. The 22-year-old has a 3.99 ERA and 49/20 K/BB ratio in 48 1/3 innings across eight starts this season. He's worth stashing in deeper mixed leagues at this point.
