Saturday's Pickups of the Day

Bradley Beal- Must-add player.

Jeff Green- Must-add player.

Carlos Delfino- Must-add player.

Moe Harkless- Very close to a must-add player.

Vince Carter- He keeps going off. Five more triple to help Dallas get the win.

Danny Green- Manu will be limited and the Spurs will need DG for seeding purposes.

Martell Webster- All he does is put up scoring in the teens with multiple 3s.

Nate Robinson- He put up 12 points with four assists. Kirk Hinrich might be out for a bit.

Andrew Nicholson- He has no competition.

Tony Allen- He’s doing work even though he doesn’t shoot 3s.

Andre Miller- He’s been consistent, which is a little surprising since Ty Lawson is smashing the NBA right now.

Jason Thompson- T-Rob’s departure should help. I don’t think Patrick Patterson fits the SAC scheme. Who knows with Smart, though?

Alexey Shved- He scored 17 points and he’s probably earned consistent playing time. Too bad Luke Ridnour didn’t get dealt.

Antawn Jamison- He can’t play D, but he’s scoring. He added 16 more on Friday.

Trevor Ariza- He’s going to see minutes in the high-20s and might average one steal and one 3-pointer.

Wilson Chandler- His 22-point game had a lot to go with Danilo Gallnari dealing with a thigh bruise.

E’Twaun Moore- Beno Udrih and Moore will split the duties with Jameer Nelson (knee) out.

Jordan Crawford- Garbage time makes his 10-point game a false positive.

Terrence Williams- He looked good and I wouldn’t have a problem if someone else thought he’s a better add than Crawford.

C.J. Watson- Deron Williams is OK for now and Joe Johnson shouldn’t miss any more games.

Bismack Biyombo- He still hasn’t done enough to suggest the Bobcats made a smart move drafting him last year. Michael Jordan is not too good at evaluating talent.

Jason Kidd- We’ll need to see it like five times in a row to think about making him a pickup.

Bernard James- Salute!

Viacheslav Kravtsov- Whoop!

Jason Smith- Anthony Davis sounds like he’s going to be OK. Smith dropped 22 points, so if AD isn’t, then he’s a decent add.

DeShawn Stevenson- He went off with 17, but he needs his rest.

Phoenix Suns- ??

Bradley Beal SG,G - WAS: May 21, 6:38PM: Beal scheduled... Bradley Beal is scheduled for another X-ray on his right fibula next week. He's still not cleared for physical activity and it's taking him much longer to recover from the stress fracture in his right leg than was anticipated. We should have an update next week, after the X-rays are taken.
Jeff Pendergraph PF,C - IND: May 21, 1:51PM: Jeff Pendergraph... Jeff Pendergraph (new baby) missed Tuesday's practice. Pendergraph also missed Monday's practice, and he remains in the hospital with his wife. The Pacers are "hopeful" he'll re-join the team on Wednesday in advance of Game 1 vs. Miami, but he's considered questionable at the moment.
Eric Gordon SG - NO: May 21, 12:16PM: Source: Eric... A source told the New Orleans Times-Picayune that Eric Gordon trade rumors have "no merit." Gordon is expected to be shopped by the Pelicans as the team looks to get out from under his contract, but right now it appears the team is committed to keeping him. We'd expect that to change as we enter the offseason and more teams begin to get active in shaping their plans for next season, but he'll remain with the Pelicans for now.
Carmelo Anthony F - NY: May 21, 11:19AM: Carmelo Anthony... Carmelo Anthony (shoulder) will undergo an MRI exam. Previously scheduled for Tuesday, the Knicks have clarified the date of the MRI to be "some time soon." Melo wants to rule out any potential structural damage, so the MRI is the first step in doing that. Previously, Anthony has described the shoulder as "stable," but the MRI will give us a much better idea of exactly what he's dealing with and what kind of recovery he'll face.
Tyson Chandler C - NY: May 21, 11:17AM: Woodson wants... Mike Woodson wants Tyson Chandler to bulk up during the offseason as well as develop a low post game. After Chandler took a side swipe at the coaching staff during his exit interview, Woodson fired back with his own critiques of the center's game. Chandler was not himself down the stretch, and he'll need to return to previous form for the Knicks to meet expectations.
Amar'e Stoudemire PF,C - NY: May 21, 11:09AM: Stoudemire could... GM Glen Grunwald said Amare Stoudemire could have a minutes restriction next season. It's way too early to determine what the restrictions might be, but the Knicks are focused on keeping STAT healthy and on the court. It appears as if STAT could be headed for another season as a role player with Mike Woodson saying he hasn't made a decision on whether or not he'll start, and Amare planned to talk with Woodson about his role for next year during the offseason. As usual, it's shaping up to be an interesting offseason for the Knicks.
David West PF - IND: May 21, 11:00AM: Report: Clippers... The Clippers will make a "hard run" at David West in the offseason, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. West is responsible for changing the culture with the Pacers, and both Indiana and West have gone on the record saying they'd like to remain with each other. Regardless, the Clippers will have West on the radar, and it wouldn't surprise us to see the veteran cash in with another multi-year deal around $10 million per season like the contract he's playing on now. West played with Chris Paul in New Orleans.
